Product Design Partners with Devialet
October 5, 2016
Our Product Design Program has forged a new partnership with the international, high-end audio manufacturer, Devialet, to develop new products, prototypes and ways to extend their product line by expanding awareness and use by design professionals and consumers. Devialet’s Phantom are among the best-in-class, and our students will create design solutions that will assist architects, interior designers, custom cabinet builders, and high-end audio-visual retailers. The 10-week program, led by Professor Raja Schaar, will combine the work of fourteen Product Design Students and Devialet’s Custom Sales Manager, Alexandre Panizzoli, culminating in a final presentation and delivery of solutions in December.
Started in 2007 by Pierre-Emmanuel Calmel, Quentin Sannié, and Emmanuel Nardin, Devialet has since become an international leader for high-end amplifiers. The Phantom Speaker is an impressive feat of engineering and style, emitting accurate sound using a revolutionary and inherently superior process that has been awarded over 100 patents for its innovative engineering. It is considered superior to any other wireless speaker available in the industry and is lauded for its compact size, unequaled performance and modern styling.
