The Westphal College invites all graduating students, their families and faculty of the College to honor our graduating class of 2016 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. This first ever Westphal commencement event will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 and begins promptly at 2pm; graduating seniors and graduate students must arrive at the convention center robing room no later than 1pm.
We are honored to have Jane Golden, founder and head of Philadelphia’s Mural Arts Program deliver the keynote address along with two outstanding students: Benjamin Baker, from the Museum Leadership Graduate Program, and Virginia Theerman, from the Design & Merchandising Program, speak on behalf of the 500 graduate and undergraduate seniors who will receive their degrees. For the first time in over a decade, the University will host a university-wide commencement exercise where degrees will be conferred by President Fry on Saturday, June 11 at Citizens Bank Park at 10:00 a.m. For complete details on both Graduation events, please visit the commencement webpage.

Students can pick up their cap and gown now, along with four guest tickets for this College event, from the University bookstore. Faculty and staff regalia will be available between June 6 -15. The college anticipates additional tickets for commencement to become available on June 1, please watch your Drexel email for an announcement of ticket availability and pick-up location. Students and their guests are invited to a reception to be held on campus before and after the college event.
