January 26, 2016 — Peter L. Gluck is the founder and principal of New York City’s GLUCK+, an architecture firm that is internationally recognized and awarded for its bold and conceptually distinct designs, including being named among Fast Company’s list of the World’s Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Architecture in 2014. On February 11 as part of the Arfaa Lecture Series, Gluck will visit Westphal to give a free talk themed “Breaking Out of Our Silo,” at 6:30pm in the Mandell Theater (33^rd & Chestnut Streets). Gluck’s discussion will draw from his extensive experience in designing for diverse projects, from residential to institutional, educational, and recreational.

Peter Gluck is a frequently invited guest lecturer and keynote speaker on urban housing design and professional responsibility. He is the author of the Architect Led Design Build (ALDB) chapter in the current edition of the AIA Architects Handbook of Professional Practice. Peter serves on the Board of Trustees at The East Harlem School, the Auburn University Rural Studio Advisory Group and the Board of Visitors for the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He received his BA and MA in architecture from Yale, and has taught at the Columbia and Yale schools of architecture and curated exhibitions at the MoMA in New York and the Milan Triennale.
