January 25, 2016 — We are delighted to welcome Murray McKay to Drexel as the Westphal College’s new Assistant Dean of Recruitment & Retention. Murray has nearly twenty-five years of experience in art education, with 14 years of experience in admission recruitment, retention, marketing, and communications for NASAD accredited art and design schools. He most recently served as Senior Associate Director of Enrollment Management at Parsons School of Design, The New School where he successfully launched the startup of Parsons branch campus in Paris, France.

Murray specializes in international recruitment strategy and upholds a deep commitment to student success. He has previously served as Associate Director of Enrollment Management at Studio Art Centers International (SACI) in Florence, Italy, and as Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he received his MFA in Interdisciplinary Performance Art. He has exhibited, performed or screened his work atTerra Museum of American Art, The Field Museum, Royal College of Art, Interlochen Center for the Arts, Blue Man Group, The Goodman Theatre, Cleveland Performance Art Festival and others.
