January 11, 2016 — WKDU, our student-run, award-winning radio station, recently began airing the Drexel Dragons men’s basketball games in a broadcast initiative that has been “years in the making," said WKDU General Manager Esmail Hamidi. "The executive board of WKDU is excited to serve the Drexel community and our listeners in Philadelphia and beyond." Drexel Athletics and WKDU (91.7) will air the final 13 games of the regular season, including road games, beginning on Jan. 16.

"It's exciting for our program and for our fans to have our games back on the radio," Drexel Head Coach Bruiser Flint said. "This is something we have been looking forward to for a while. I really want to thank WKDU General Manager Esmail Hamidi and faculty advisor Larry Epstein who have worked diligently with our administration to make this happen. It is a great opportunity for our alumni and supporters to hear our games on the radio."
