Rich Tozzoli Visits Drexel

February 22, 2016

February 22, 2016 — Grammy-nominated producer Rich Tozzoli has worked as a recording engineering and mixer around the globe and in the field of surround sound, mixing projects for the likes of David Bowie, Hall & Oates and Carly Simon. His guitar-centric television compositions can be heard on networks such as the Discovery Channel, A&E and the History Channel, including on Pawn Stars, Duck Dynasty and Alaskan Bush People. In partnership with the Audio Engineering Society, the Music Industry program will host a free-to-the-public talk with Tozzoli on Tuesday, March 1 at 6:00pm in the URBN Annex Screening Room (3401 Filbert Street). Tozzoli is the author of the book/DVD Pro Tools Surround Sound Mixing and co-author of The Ultimate Guitar Tone, with Bobby Owinski.

Tozzoli has also written for NFL, NHL, MLB, ESPN and Fox Sports, and currently serves as the software editor for Pro Sound News and Pro Audio Review. For more information about the free lecture on March 1, which will offer an inspired dialogue about success in today’s music and television businesses, please contact professor Cyrille Taillandier atclt43@drexel.edu.
