Pretentious Film Majors

A new episode of The Pretentious Film Majors (PFM) will air on Friday, April 15th at 8pm on DUTV, Drexel’s Television station carried throughout Philadelphia on Comcast channels 54 and 62 and Verizon channel 37. In Episode 3, PFM will talk about why the tomb raider movies are better than this year’s Oscar winner, Spotlight, and why the Star Wars prequels are actually pretty good. The episode was co-executive produced by Matt Hepworth, Michaela Murray, and Devon Voelkel and produced by Justin Allison, Jason Gong, Michaela Murray, Henrique Terra, and Devon Voelkel. Editors were Michaela Murray, Devon Voelkel, Nick Furer, and Shondelle Tillman. You can watch the episode now on their Vimeo channel here.
PFM was formed by two screenwriting majors in 2011, beginnings as a small radio show, their efforts have now blossomed into ongoing a web production and DUTV broadcast. PFM is a club dedicated to everything film, attends screenings far in advance of their peers to produce discussions and reviews. In addition, PFM has attended several red carpet events and premiers where they conduct interviews.
