March 21, 2014
The Princeton Review’s recently published report of the “Top 25 Schools to Study Game Design” ranked Drexel’s undergraduate Gaming program fourth in the nation, and the graduate Gaming program at sixth, the highest ranked program in our region. In an expanded review pool, the undergraduate program jumped two slots from its sixth place 2013 ranking. The report is based on a 2013 survey of administrators at 150 game design programs in the US, Canada, and countries abroad.
Drexel Game Design pivots on a joint curriculum from Westphal’s Digital Media program and the Department of Computer Science in the College of Computing and Informatics.
