Entertainment & Arts Management major Carly Jennion has been selected for the acclaimed Television Academy Foundation Internship program. She is one of just 50 students chosen by Television Academy members from across the country for the 2021 program. Carly will complete her internship remotely this summer in the Unscripted Television department at 44 Blue Productions in Burbank, CA.

“Being one of the few selected for this prestigious program was truly a surprise,” said Carly. “Being selected has brought a level of validation to my abilities and passions that was much needed after what felt like a year in limbo. I am excited and hopeful that this is the jumping off point for all I’ve dreamt about.

“This internship will be my first chance to prove myself to industry professionals, and hopefully open doors that wouldn’t be possible without the fantastic connections the Television Academy Foundation has to offer,” said Carly. Typically, the Television Academy Foundation’s annual Internship Program provides 50 paid internships at top Hollywood studios and production companies, to college students nationwide. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Television Academy Foundation has had to re-imagine its internship program this year offering the 50 students selected from across the country the chance to either intern remotely or enroll as a Summer Fellow.
