Kim Kelly, Music Industry alumna (‘10), penned the March 10 Atlantic article “Fighting Violence Against Women in India with Heavy Metal,” examining thrash-metal band Sceptre’s progressive role in addressing gender violence in Indian society. The article was tweeted by Chelsea Clinton. A music journalist based in New York, Kelly has written for The Guardian, Pitchfork and NPR.
