NBC10 vists Drexel's Immersive Research Lab

NBC10’s Randy Gyllenhaal visits Drexel University’s Immersive Research Lab as part of a virtual reality series hosted on the network. Located in the URBN Center, the Immersive Research Lab is the first of its kind on campus, dedicated to the study and development of immersive media and virtual and augmented reality. Nick Jushchyshyn, an assistant professor in the Westphal College and director of the lab, was interviewed along with undergraduates Travis Hove, a junior in Game Design & Production; Julia Zuckerberg, a senior in Animation & Visual Effects; Fatma Ozen, a senior in Animation & Visual Effects; and Jennifer Raimondi, a junior in Animation & Visual Effects. Each student discussed how the lab’s innovative technology allows them to create content that is enhanced by virtual reality and how their experience in the Immersive Research Lab hopes to influence their post-graduation career goals.
