Shreya Patel, MPH

Doctoral Research Fellow


Shreya Patel, MPH is a doctoral student in Epidemiology and Biostatistics department advised by Drs. Usama Bilal and Harrison Quick. She earned her MPH in Epidemiology at George Washington University and her BSc in Public Health at the University of South Carolina. Prior to coming to Drexel, Shreya worked as a research analyst at the National Cancer Institute, where she worked on several longitudinal research projects examining the relationship between physical activity and cancer incidence and mortality. Prior to this, Shreya was a global health surveillance fellow at CDC, where she helped implement and monitor national bio-behavioral surveys among PEPFAR countries. Her research interests include urban health, environmental exposures, spatial analyses, and health disparities.
