Event Setup

Event planners can manage physical setups, such as table and chair configurations, through the Campus Reservation System. Each event venue has a standard set up available for no fee, indicated in the Campus Reservation System when a location is chosen. Personalization of the standard setup may result in fees such as labor costs, depending on the request.

Please note that in adherence to the University's unionized labor contracts, facility users are not permitted to setup tables and chairs. Drexel Event Services will work with University Facilities to ensure the requested setup is installed. Audio-Visual (A/V) Assistance

Drexel Event Services hires and trains Drexel University students to assist with audio-visual support for events.

Drexel departments, schools and colleges hosting events on the University City Campus can utilize this audio-visual support service at a fraction of the cost of hiring an external sound company. To request audio-visual support, complete the request while submitting your event reservation in the Campus Reservation System.

Drexel Event Services Audio-Visual provides affordable packages to meet the needs of most campus events. For special event needs, a consultation with Technical Operations will be needed to receive a cost estimate. For more information, please contact reservations@drexel.edu.

Audio-visual requests are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis as equipment and technicians are available.

Catering

Chestnut Street Caterers is Drexel University's exclusive caterer, offering a variety of menus to fit all occasions. Chestnut Street Caterers also provides linen, floral arrangement and centerpiece rentals.

All catering services, including requests for linens, must be submitted through Chestnut Street Caterers.
