Drexel University’s School of Education is hosting Science of Reading Day on September 26th, 2024, a free event aimed at tackling the literacy crisis. The event will feature a screening of the documentary “Hopeville: How to Win the Reading Wars” by director Harvey Hubbell, followed by a panel discussion with notable literacy experts. The day will also include a resource fair, a dyslexia simulation, and discussions on science-based literacy instruction, which is crucial for improving reading outcomes.
