Undergraduate Programs

Drexel University School of Education

At the core of every great teacher is the desire to make a difference in someone’s life. It’s a noble goal and accomplishing it takes preparation, practice and dedication. As education adapts to new technologies, changing social and academic environments, and increasingly diverse student populations, teachers face a variety of challenges in their work.

Drexel’s School of Education provides students with everything they need to succeed as teachers in today’s classrooms.

At Drexel, we design our programs to help undergraduates become effective, qualified teachers prepared to apply the best practices in modern environments. Through study, cooperative learning, and hands-on experiences, our many program options prepare students for careers in teaching early childhood through twelfth grade.

With a focus on urban education and effective teaching, the program emphasizes integrating the sciences and enhancing teaching with technology, two central components of every Drexel education.
