Preparing for a Changing World: Co-op is the Future of Work

Over 125 years ago, Drexel University's founder, Anthony J. Drexel, had a vision to create an institution that would empower every student to graduate from Drexel ready to begin their career. Drexel Co-op allows us to meet this challenge. This innovative program prepares our Dragons to meet the challenges of the modern workplace by allowing them to learn within it. Through co-op, students gain up to 18 months of résumé-enhancing experience working alongside industry professionals and test-drive career options – all before graduation.

What if You Knew? Co-op at Drexel

As an integral part of the Drexel education, our cooperative education program empowers students to hone their professional skills and work alongside industry leaders while pursuing their passions. After going on co-op, students return and serve as valuable resources in the classroom as they share their enhanced perspective with everyone around them — our faculty members then work to integrate this new knowledge into their instruction.
