Schidlow has been appointed Walter H. and Leonore Annenberg Dean and senior vice president of medical affairs at the Drexel University College of Medicine. Drexel University College of Medicine and Shore Medical Center have signed an affiliation agreement to develop and implement a clinical education program. Beginning in July 2012, fourth-year students from Drexel University College of Medicine will have the opportunity to do one-month elective rotations at Shore.

Top infectious disease research scientists from across the country and around the world, including a Nobel Prize winner, will gather in Philadelphia later this month when Drexel University College of Medicine hosts the 2012 International Symposium on Molecular Medicine and Infectious Disease. The symposium will be held June 19-21 in the New College Building (15th & Vine Streets) in Geary Auditorium B.
