Teressa Ravenell is an Assistant Professor at Villanova University School of law, where she has taught Civil Procedure, Civil Rights litigation, and a seminar on Police Conduct since 2006. Her research focuses on § 1983 and its intersection with other areas of law. Professor Ravenell’s work has been published or is forthcoming in the Temple Law Review, the Villanova Law Review, and the Seton Hall Law Review. Before joining the Villanova faculty, she clerked for the Honorable Raymond A. Jackson of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and was an associate for Wilmer, Cutler, and Pickering. Professor Ravenell graduated from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.
