Giuseppe G. Salomone, PhD, led a session discussing gender, sex and understanding gender awareness. Gender awareness can also be seen as a process because our ways of thinking about ourselves, others and the world as gendered. Gender and sex exist in a continuum and are ever changing. Topics of discussion will include, gender, sex, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, personal pronouns, and chosen names.
