Welcome Back from Our Executive Director September 24, 2015 We’d like to offer a heartfelt welcome and best wishes to our new and returning students as we begin the 2015-2016 academic year. The past several months were brimming with change for our college: We enjoyed relocating to our current home, Gerri C. LeBow Hall, shortly before I arrived at the helm as executive director. Soon thereafter, we launched our new website, drexel.edu/goodwin, and revived our social media presence. Summer found us preparing for our brand-new program, First-Year Exploratory Studies, which fulfills a previously untapped opportunity for students to explore academic options before declaring a major. Initiating a program for first-year, full-time students gave us new purpose and drive to participate in a revamped new student orientation, Welcome Week. We look forward to following our “Drexel Explorers” through their journey as they ultimately make a well-informed transition into a full-time degree program at the end of Spring 2016. In the meantime, we’re excited to continue our longstanding programs in degree completion, awarding bachelor’s degrees in General Studies; assisting our military veterans with emerging support programs; and offering in-demand continuing professional education courses. We remain proud of our accomplishments in providing accommodative learning solutions for a variety of populations, and we hope you’ll join us for the many events and activities we present along the way.
