Gilman International Scholarship to the UK, 2018

BSN '19

Ebony is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She received a Gilman International Scholarship to study abroad in London, UK during the spring 2018 term. A first-generation college student, Ebony decided to make her college experience one that would not only impact her life but would also impact the lives of those around her. As the Vice-President of the West Indian Student Establishment at Drexel, Ebony enjoys sharing her Caribbean culture with others and hopes to continue to do so abroad. Ebony is also a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., which has steadily inspired her to service her community here in Philadelphia and to give back to the community that will welcome her abroad. She is excited to learn more about healthcare policy in other parts of the world and how she can incorporate traveling into her career as a registered nurse.
