URBN Professor of Biomedical Engineering and alumna Kara L. Spiller, BS/MS '07 and PhD '10, has dedicated her career to furthering knowledge of immune engineering and other advanced therapies.

Through DrExcel Health, student teams work during the academic year to design, refine, and construct devices. The student-driven, extracurricular group fosters collaboration between those with different academic backgrounds who learn from their faculty mentors and from one another.

Moogega "Moo" Cooper, MS '08, PhD '09, shared a look into her time at Drexel and how it shaped her career. Cooper now works for NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where she protects the solar system from Earth-sourced contaminants.
