Dornsife's Maternal and Child Health Speaker Series recognized Human Trafficking Prevention Month (observed in January) with a two-part webinar in partnership with the US Department of Health and Human Services Region III Anti-Trafficking Task Force.

The event presented a unique perspective on local and federal human trafficking initiatives and resources, with the goal of increasing awareness among public health and healthcare practitioners.

Those who attended enjoyed the combination of federal agency and survivor perspectives and appreciated that the content was relevant and timely.
