Highlighting HRSA MCHB Trainee Lawryn Fowler

Lawryn FowlerDornsife student Lawryn Fowler was featured as a MCH Trainee in the HRSA MCHB Division of MCH Workforce Development's themed website this quarter.

Fowler discussed her research with Irene Headen, PhD, MS and the Title V Summer Internship:

"Being [an MCH trainee at Dornsife] has given me the leverage to participate in a multitude of MCH related opportunities towards enhancing diversity and health equity. I am passionate about dedicating my future career to advocate for Black mothers and lessen the inequities that exist in the maternal mortality rates in the United States," said Fowler.
