B.A. in Anthropology

The Anthropology Major is a small highly specialized program that provides students with an exceptional background in theory, methodology and field experience for the workplace or graduate training. Students broaden their understanding of the diversity of cultures and ways of life in the global environment through both theoretical and content area courses while being trained in the field techniques and methodological skills through a rich set of specifically designed courses. The core of the major is an internship program that focuses on highly specialized placements and a seminar course that students take each year as they learn to transform their field experiences into ethnographic writing, films and other products.

The Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology is a four year program, with a single 6 month internship in the Junior year.

Bachelor of Arts: 182.0 credits
