  • Gerontology (provision of care to the elderly in a variety of care settings)
  • The use of technology in the provision of care and the decisions made by individuals and their care providers as to the appropriate level of care
  • Behavioral Informatics

 
 
RESEARCH PROJECTS
  • “My current research concerns the integration of information provided by behavioral monitoring into care provision models in different care provider settings. Currently research is being conducted in six different locations in the US and England. The research is self funded.”
  • 1994-1997 Co-Principal Investigator - "Integrated and Continuous Assessment as a Component of Effective Discharge Planning for Older Adults."
  • 1986-present Director - “Center for Applied Neurogerontology”.
