Kelly Blincoe wins ACM research competition at ICSE 2012

June 11, 2012 — Kelly Blincoe, CS doctoral student and advised by Prof. Giuseppe Valetto, assistant professor of computer science, has placed first among graduate students in the ACM Student Research Competition (SRC) in software engineering held during the 34th International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE 2012) in Zurich, Switzerland, June 2-9, 2012.

Blincoe will go on to the ACM SRC 2012 Grand Finals, where she will present her research on “Timely Detection of Coordination Requirements to Support Collaboration Among Software Developers,” and compete with winners of equivalent research contests held during the major ACM conferences in all areas of Computer Science.
