To celebrate its 125th anniversary this fall, Drexel will hold a public lecture series dedicated to telling certain chapters of the University’s history. The nine talks held this fall will feature lectures from contributors and the co-editors of the upcoming book “Building Drexel: The University and Its City, 1891-2016,” which is the first comprehensive history of Drexel University in Philadelphia.

These lectures are free and open to the public. They will be held at the A.J. Drexel Picture Gallery in Drexel’s Main Building (unless otherwise noted). Lectures will be live-streamed and archived on the 125th website.

“How Do You Tell 125 Years of Drexel History?” by Scott Gabriel Knowles, PhD, department head and associate professor in the Department of History in the College of Arts and Sciences and co-editor of "Building Drexel."
