Erikka Gilliam, MS, MPH, is the Senior Community Engagement Manager for a large, multi-sectoral, data systems project as part of the larger U.S. Department of Education-funded Promise Neighborhoods grant in West Philadelphia, entitled "Promise of Strong Partnership for Education Reform" (ProSPER). She is also the UHC Community Engagement Core Co-lead. She received her MS in cell biology and molecular genetics from the University of Maryland, College Park and her MPH from Emory University, Rollins School of Public Health. She previously worked for a local health department managing a project aimed to develop policies, systems and environmental change strategies to improve access to healthy food options and physical activity opportunities in low income communities.
