What is Research Development?

Working with Drexel leadership, research faculty, and staff, we endeavor to improve funding success and grow the research enterprise. Empowered teams extend the reach and elevate the quality of the entire research enterprise. 

What does Research Development do?

Each member of the Research Development team contributes to Drexel's research strategy. 

Core functions include:

• Research intelligence - analyzes the funding landscape and identifies opportunities.
• Proposal management - coordinates the various tasks associated with creating a comprehensive and winning proposal.
• Proposal graphical and curatorial support - enlivens proposals with storytelling strategy and compelling visuals, giving teams the competitive edge necessary for success.
• Research related events - designs and produces convening opportunities to connect  potential collaborators.
• Limited submissions - utilizing the InfoReady Portal for limited submissions and internal funding opportunities.
  

Self-Service Portal

The Self-Service Portal is designed as a tool to assist Drexel researchers who want to build multi-disciplinary teams, access funding landscape intelligence, and gain a competitive edge in proposal writing and submission.

In the portal, researches will find techniques, best practices, practical tips, and templates for building capacity and competence in the research funding space.
