One of the most rewarding aspects of a president's role is the opportunity to connect with the people who make an institution extraordinary, and this has certainly been true for me. Through regular office hours with small groups of students, faculty and professional staff, I have had the benefit of fostering open, meaningful conversations about where we are and where we are headed. The energy and ideas I hear about inspire me every day.
This Report — an annual tradition — is equally inspiring. It is a curated collection of stories that showcase the very best of Drexel: from major institutional milestones to the unique experiences of our students inside and outside the classroom. You will find highlights of scholars and researchers making a real-world impact, our vibrant creative arts culture, student-athletes who embody grit and determination, and alumni whose achievements reflect the full breadth of the Drexel experience.
I encourage you to explore these stories and remain engaged in the year ahead. It promises to be a year well worth following.
Sincerely,
Antonio Merlo, PhD
President
