Goodwin College of Professional Studies allows you to sample courses from varied areas of study and determine the major that is the right fit for you. For those who have a grasp on a specific academic area but aren’t sure about the particular program that suits them, Drexel provides an undeclared major in which a student can experiment with different courses in that field before determining a focus.
Students are guided through the major search process through intensive advising and thought-provoking coursework, with the goal of having them choose a major by the end of the first year of college. Entering college without a major can be anxiety-provoking for some students, but research has shown that students who wait to declare graduate at a higher rate than those who declare upon entering college (79% vs. 83%).
