Show off that Drexel pride and consider joining the Homecoming Court for 2025!
Homecoming Court members serve as student representatives throughout Homecoming. All full-time graduate and undergraduate students are eligible for the Court.

Applications will close on January 16 at 11:59 p.m. Nominees should fill out the application and follow all instructions. Please pay attention to the Homecoming Court Rules and Regulations, as well as the timeline.
Timeline
- Homecoming Court Application is made available on DragonLink
- Thursday, January 16 at 11:59 p.m. – Homecoming Royalty Application closes
- Monday, January 20 – Announcement of Homecoming Court
- Monday, January 20 to Friday, January 24 at 12 p.m. – Royal Dragon voting is made available on DragonLink
- Saturday, January 25 at 2 p.m. – Announcement of Royal Dragon at the Homecoming Basketball Game
Rules and Regulations
- Completed Homecoming Court applications are due on DragonLink by Thursday, January 16 at 11:59 p.m.
- Any full-time undergraduate and graduate student (12 credit hours or more) may be nominated.
- Nominees must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5.
- Nominees must be in good standing with Student Conduct & Care standards (no current disciplinary actions).
- Applicants can be nominated by a peer, a faculty or staff member, or self-nominations.
- Eligible candidates will participate in the Court selection process through a review of campus and community involvement and a personal statement.
- The Final Court is expected to attend all Homecoming events, including the Homecoming Basketball Game on January 25 at 2 p.m., and any other requirements posed by the Homecoming committee.
Failure to comply with any of the above rules may result in disqualification.
Court Selection
Applications will be reviewed by professional staff based on the following:
- Campus and community involvement
- Academic achievement
- Ability to articulate the impact Drexel University has had on them
- Reasoning for wanting to be the Royal Dragon
In the event of a tie, personal statements will be evaluated by the Dean of Students, who will be asked to choose the nominee most deserving of a position on the Homecoming Court.
Note: Voting for candidates will take place between January 20–January 24.
Royal Dragon Selection
Once our Homecoming Court selections have been made, one member of our Court will be selected as the 2025 Homecoming Royal Dragon. This selection will be determined by a student vote. The Royal Dragon will hold this title throughout the year and will receive a $500 scholarship.
