National Computer Science Education Week is December 8th-14th, and the ExCITe Center is happy to announce that this year, we will be holding an open house for middle school students to help introduce them to computing concepts and their real-world applications. Participants from middle schools all around Philadelphia will enjoy workshops including...

• A code.org interactive unplugged activity
• HUBO Humanoid Robotics discussion
• Hands-on projects using interactive electronic modules called LittleBits
• Summer Music Technology program activities

This event is open to all middle school students, but is primarily geared towards 4th-8th grade students. Snacks will be provided, but registration is required.
