MCRC Welcomes Executive Director of the New Jersey State Department’s Cannabis Training Academy

The Drexel Medical Cannabis Research Center's Speaker Series event in April welcomed Tauhid Chappell, the inaugural Executive Director of the New Jersey State Department’s Cannabis Training Academy.

Chappell discussed his role at the Academy and its plans to offer training opportunities to current and aspiring cannabis industry professionals.

In addition to his work at the New Jersey State Department, Chappell is an Adjunct Professor of Equity Movements, Impact and Outcomes in Cannabis at Thomas Jefferson University and also currently serves as an Executive Board Member of the Philadelphia Association of Black Journalists.
