Attendees at the latest Medical Cannabis Research Center (MCRC) event heard from Dr. Ben Cocchiaro, MD, MPH, about medical cannabis in Pennsylvania from a clinical perspective.

Dr. Cocchiaro is an assistant clinical professor in the department of Family Medicine and Community Health in the College of Medicine at Drexel University. He is also a co-investigator on MCRC's Registry Study and other clinical studies.

Dr. Cocchiaro is the former director of medical education and board treasurer at Prevention Point Philadelphia, and has served on the Philadelphia Mayor’s Task Force to Combat the Overdose Epidemic. He also given grand rounds at Penn State Hershey on the medical applications of cannabis.
