The Drexel University Innovation Fund is an exciting new initiative for early-stage Drexel student and postgraduate-led startups, as well as startups founded to commercialize the results of scientific research being developed at Drexel. 

The Raynier Seed Fund for Underrepresented Entrepreneurs advances equity in the Greater Philadelphia region by investing pre-seed risk capital in and providing post-investment support to scalable startups founded by founders from the region’s underserved populations.

RESOURCES FOR SCIENTISTS BECOMING SCIENTIST ENTREPRENEURS

NSF I-Corps at Drexel University is a training program to help researchers explore the question of, “Given my innovation, who outside of academia cares about it most, why, and by how much?” through an immersive customer discovery process.

The two-year Activate Fellowship provides early-stage science entrepreneurs with funding, technical resources, and unparalleled support from a network of scientists, engineers, investors, commercial partners, and fellow entrepreneurs.

Activator is Nucleate’s flagship program for bio-innovators. The program starts with a “mutual-matching” team formation phase, followed by workshops and mentor office hours, culminating in a final pitch showcase before world-renowned judges.
