OnBase Training

The OnBase System is a scanning and document storage system used by the university. This training is for faculty and staff who need the ability to review scanned documents and upload documents for students.

If you need to view student documents in AVT you must complete this training in addition to AVT training.

Please note: AIS does not have authorization to grant access to Finance or Human Resources data. Please contact those offices directly for access.

OnBase training is now offered online. Please complete the following steps to watch the video tutorial and to gain access to this additional page.

1. Watch the training video on the OnBase System.

This tutorial includes:

  • Logging into the application
  • Navigating through the application
  • Looking up student documents
  • Viewing documents
  • Importing student documents
  • Indexing and ReIndexing
  • Annotations
  • Custom Queries
  • Logging out of the application

2. Request your OnBase Account

This request form will ask you for some basic information required to create your account. This also includes a brief quiz as a review of the material demonstrated in the video tutorial.

Your account will not be created until you complete this form and submit the results.

3. Access OnBase

Once your account has been created, you can access OnBase. To log-in, simply enter your DrexelOne username and password.
