1907 August 17, 2016 Though Drexel is often stereotyped as a school for engineering and business majors, it has had a literary magazine on its campus for 100 of its 125 years. The first publication with literary content, The Drexel Echo, is published in 1907, just 16 years after Drexel’s founding. It lasts until 1912.
