Top Rankings for Drexel Gaming

March 20, 2013

The Princeton Review, one of the nation's best-known education services companies, recently issued its fourth annual report naming the schools with the best programs to study video game design. We are happy to announce that Drexel’s Graduate gaming program was ranked third and our undergraduate program ranked sixth. The report, "Top Schools to Study Video Game Design for 2013," is based on a survey The Princeton Review conducted in 2012-13 of 150 programs at institutions in the U.S.A. and Canada offering video game design coursework and/or degrees.

Drexel Gaming is a collaborative effort between our Digital Media Game Art and Production major and the Computer Science department in the College of Engineering with their Game Programming and Development concentration.  Drexel Gaming engages students in game development through research projects and proof-of-concept demonstrations that allow students to explore all aspects of video game design and creation.
