Clare Sauro, Curator of the Drexel Historic Costume Collection, has been cited as an expert on American fashion by Augusta Auctions. This fall they will be auctioning items de-accessioned from the Brooklyn Museum of Art's costume collection. Designers included in this sale will include James Galanos, Valentina, Claire McCardell and Bonnie Cashin.
