Westphal Faculty and Staff Recognized with Awards for Research, Scholarship, Creativity, Teaching, and Service

As a means of supporting the ongoing development of faculty research, scholarship, and creative activities, as well as recognizing excellence in teaching and professional service, the Office of Research & Innovation and the Office of Faculty Advancement and Undergraduate Affairs announced the recipients of the 2021-2022 Research, Scholarship and Creativity Awards and the 2021-2022 Provost Awards for Teaching, Scholarship and Professional Service. Among the recipients of the awards are 10 faculty and staff members from the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design.

Christian R. and Mary F. Lindback Foundation Award for Distinguished Teaching

The most prestigious award given to full-time faculty members who over the years have demonstrated the highest achievements in teaching.

Joseph Larnerd, PhD, Assistant Professor of Art & Art History
Allen Rothwarf Award for Teaching Excellence

This award is given to a tenure-track junior faculty member with at least two years of service at Drexel who exemplifies and coordinates high standards of teaching while developing research in their areas of expertise.

Freddie Reisman Faculty Scholarly and Creative Activity Award
