October 12, 2021

Student work from Westphal College was displayed at Cherry Street Pier as part of the 2021 DesignPhiladelphia Festival. The exhibition featured work from Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Product Design, and Interior Design, including studio and thesis design projects, furniture, and winning competition entries. A team of Drexel faculty and students, including Jody Graff, William Mangold, Alexandra Schmidt-Ullrich, and Erik Sundquist worked to design, fabricate, and install the exhibition.

DesignPhiladelphia is an annual city-wide celebration of design and innovation that happens every October and represents hundreds of artists, professionals, and students in a range of design disciplines, including interior and product design, graphic design, architecture, multimedia, and urban planning. DesignPhiladelphia’s mission is to make Philadelphia a hub for design excellence, support economic opportunities for local designers, and demonstrate to the public the impact of design on our everyday lives.
