Darren-Gong-Winter: DNews Reporter, Darren Gong, at the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University

During the upcoming episode of DNews, you’ll meet two graduates of Drexel University’s Cinema and Television Department who worked on blockbuster movies, Kong: Skull Island and The Greatest Showman. The show also includes a look at the impact social media can have on mental health and explores the smoking ban in place throughout the Drexel Community. Darren Gong reports on a unique exhibit at the Academy of Natural Sciences, and Mike Marcucci takes us to the Eagles’ post-Super Bowl celebrations.

DNews is Drexel University’s award-winning student-produced TV news magazine airing on DUTV in the Philadelphia metropolitan area, on Comcast channels 54 or 62 and Verizon channel 47. The latest episode airs on Friday, June 22 at 9:00 p.m. The show’s hosts are Emma Casey and Greg Markowitz.
