Product Design student Danielle Banner is featured in the 2018 issue of EXEL Magazine, Drexel University’s research magazine, for her project BUD, a desktop companion plant with a digitally enabled planter that helps office workers bond with the outdoors. Banner set out to create a product that would connect people to nature in an age when many find it difficult to enjoy themselves outdoors because of work and other commitments during the day.
