Christopher Grant is Co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of the respected gaming industry website Polygon, where he oversees a global team of journalists covering the culture surrounding games, the people who make them, and the players who love them. In partnership with Vox Media, Polygon covers all facets of the gaming industry, including comprehensive news and in-depth feature stories that bridge the gap between criticism and buying advice. Polygon seeks to empower the most talented web voices and their audiences.  On May 27, Grant will speak to the future of game development and provide a look into Philadelphia’s indie gaming scene. The event is free to the public and will take place in the URBN Annex Screening Room (3401 Filbert Street) at 7:00pm.

Grant has spoken about the art and industry of gaming at MIT, Stanford, the Smithsonian and elsewhere. He lives in Philadelphia and previously served as Editor-in-chief of AOL's flagship gaming property, Joystiq, and has appeared on NPR, CNN and BBC.
