Always an inspiring show of works from the collections of senior and graduate Fashion Design students, the annual Drexel Fashion Show will take place on Saturday, June 6th at the Urban Outfitters Headquarters in Philadelphia's Navy Yard (5000 South Broad Street). Tickets are available for the 4:00pm show as well as the 8:00 pm show, which includes a wine and cheese reception. Featuring 29 collections, 8 graduate and 21 undergraduate, based on personal inspirations, the show is produced and managed by Design & Merchandising students, with contributions from the Music Industry Program. The show also features sportswear separates, evening wear, bridal and outerwear. Highlights of this year’s collections include hand-painted textiles in wovens and knits, original print designs on silks and cottons, hand and machine knits, hand felting techniques, machine quilting techniques, 3D printed surfaces and whole garment parts, and scuba diving-inspired sportswear using glued technical garment construction.

This year’s show will also include men’s, children’s, active wear, lingerie, and knitwear, the fastest growing market sector. Join us at the runway for what is sure to be a beautiful day and a thrilling preview of tomorrow’s fashion designers.
