March 17, 2015
Drexel’s student-run record label, MAD Dragon Records (MDR), will release Cold Shoulders’ self-titled EP on April 14, 2015. The LA-based synth-pop trio is comprised of members from the multi-platinum group The Ready Set, the indie duo Dresses, and the pop-rock Plug In Stereo. Operating out of Drexel’s Music Industry program, MDR was recently named by Paste magazine as one of the seven standout student-run record labels in the country. Cold Shoulders’ sunny single “Wasting Away” released this month.
“Working with artists with the pedigree of Cold Shoulders is an honor, and working on this EP allows the label to showcase what we’ve learned about the music industry,” said Ronnie Rose, MAD Dragon Records press officer.
Cold Shoulders’ self-titled, five-track EP was recorded and mixed at home studios in Los Angeles and Portland, Oregon. MAD Dragon Records is digitally releasing the EP with innovative social media, press, and radio campaigns. Visit the MAD Dragon Music Group website to learn more.
