The next episode of DNews airs this Friday, December 4 at 8:00pm, featuring an inside look at our Co-op Theatre’s recent production of Watership Down in collaboration with Simpatico Theatre Project. The episode also covers recent visits by Drexel guests, including Vivek Tiwary, 25-time Tony Award-winning Broadway producer, and Grammy-nominated recording engineer Joe Salamone; as well as a tour of Philadelphia’s Yards Brewery and a look at a new barre class offered at Drexel. These stories and more will air on Comcast channels 54 and 62 and Fios channel 37. DNews is shot, edited and presented by students from our Cinema & Television department as well as by students from across the University.
The November episode also addresses how Drexel police are responding to a recent wave of robberies off campus, in addition to covering Night of the Arts, a recent festival organized by Westphal’s Entertainment & Arts Society celebrating the diverse artistic community across all of Drexel’s colleges and schools; as well as an incubator competition in which student entrepreneurs can compete for $25,000 and office space in the Lebow College of Business.
