Faculty Promotions

We are pleased to share the well-deserved promotions of six outstanding Westphal faculty members. Nick Anselmo, Theatre Program Director, is a mainstay of the College’s ambitious theatre program, the Mandell Professionals in Residence Project and the Mantua Theater Project. He has been promoted to Full Teaching Professor. Orlando (Dino) Pelliccia has been promoted to Full Teaching Professor of Art & Art History. Dino is the adept Director of the College’s Leonard Pearlstein Gallery in addition to overseeing our Design Annex Wood Shop. Arts Administration Online Program Director Dr. Jean Brody has been promoted to Full Teaching Professor. Dr. Brody was instrumental in the launch of our first online graduate program and she continues to ensure its evolution, while making important contributions to her field. Catherine Byers, Design & Merchandising Program Director, has transformed the d&m magazine into an award-winning publication and she is a pillar in the production of the annual fashion show. She has been promoted to Associate Teaching Professor. Anda Dubinskis is the Art & Art History department’s Drawing Area Coordinator who regularly exhibits her beautiful work in group and solo shows. She has been promoted to Associate Teaching Professor. Cinema & TV Professor Dave Culver has been promoted to Full Teaching Professor. Dave serves as the General Manager of the Paul F. Harron Studios and the University’s television station, DUTV, and over the years has spearheaded increased student-produced programming.
